  • Full-time Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Childcare Worker to join our educational team, dedicated to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.
In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curricula, and support the holistic development of children through innovative teaching strategies. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire both students and fellow educators, creating a vibrant learning community that celebrates diversity and promotes growth. Duties Lead daily classroom instruction, ensuring a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages curiosity and active participation. Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with educational standards, incorporating literacy, math, social-emotional learning, and developmental milestones. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavioral therapy techniques and behavioral management strategies to create a safe learning. Assist with daily routines​​ such as feeding, changing diapers , nap time and hygiene practices. Support early childhood education by teaching basic skills, language development, and socialization techniques Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and any concerns Administer first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or incidents Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar caregiving roles Classroom experience in early childhood education or childhood development programs preferred Knowledge of behavior management techniques and childhood development milestones Certification in first aid and CPR required or willing to obtain upon hiring Willingness to obtain required hours mandated by the state of Georgia on a yearly basis Familiarity with toddler care, infant care, and preschool activities is highly valued Demonstrated ability to create a safe, nurturing environment that supports learning through play Candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check
