Job Description
Job Summary As a Toddler Teacher, you will ignite young minds and nurture their development in an engaging classroom environment. Your role is pivotal in fostering a love for learning among toddlers, guiding them through essential early childhood education experiences. You will create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating atmosphere that encourages exploration and growth while implementing age-appropriate curricula that align with developmental milestones. What you'll do Develop and implement creative lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in young children. Foster a nurturing environment that supports the individual needs of each child, including those with special education requirements or disabilities. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment. Engage with parents and caregivers to provide updates on child progress and collaborate on developmental strategies. Conduct regular assessments to monitor children's development in areas such as language, motor skills, and social interactions. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children through adherence to first aid protocols and childcare regulations. Create an inclusive space that celebrates diversity and encourages children to express themselves freely. Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and enhance the overall preschool experience. Experience Proven experience working with children in a preschool, daycare, or home setting is essential. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support diverse learners effectively. Experience in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Background in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial. Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred to ensure children's safety at all times. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Passion for teaching and dedication to fostering a positive learning environment for all students.
