Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate assistant teacher to join our team. This role involves fostering a positive learning environment for children ages 3 to 5 years. In this role, you will lead and guide the children in a learning environment that will inspire curiosity and foster growth for them in the class. All preparation, lesson planning, and activities will be coordinated by the lead teacher. This position only requires the implementation of everything that is left by the lead teacher to be completed with the children. Our center is a fun and loving environment not only for the children, but for all the staff who are one big family! All training will be provided. Responsibilities Implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to the age group of your class. Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that promotes positive behavior management and child welfare. Collaborate with the lead teacher and the director to support individual learning needs and behavioral goals. Facilitate activities that support childhood development milestones. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred but not required. Strong desire to train and learn what is required to teach in the classroom. Communication skills to engage with children and other co-workers effectively.
Pay:
$13.50 - $14.50 per hour
