Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Experience Infant and Toddler Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will make a meaningful difference! In this role, you will create a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers, fostering their growth through innovative curriculum development, hands-on activities, and compassionate care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic setting dedicated to childhood development and early education excellence. Responsibilities Design and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy education, physical activity, social-emotional skills, and early intervention strategies tailored to infants and toddlers. Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management. Plan engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori principles, classroom management techniques, and developmental milestones to support each child's unique needs. Monitor and document each child's progress through observations, assessments, and standardized testing when applicable; communicate findings with families and team members effectively. Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized plans for children requiring special education or additional support services. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians to share insights on their child's growth, behavior, and learning activities. Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, health standards, and best practices in childhood development while managing classroom routines efficiently. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting; classroom experience with infants and toddlers is essential. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including curriculum development, behavior management, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with special education concepts, early intervention programs, literacy education strategies, and Montessori methods is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate math skills, physical education activities, and child welfare best practices. Demonstrated understanding of childhood development stages specific to infants and toddlers; experience with standardized testing or assessment tools is a plus.
