Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Private Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of preschool-aged children, incorporating elements of Montessori, literacy education, math, physical education, and other core subjects Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques Conduct child development assessments and utilize standardized testing when appropriate to monitor progress Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Facilitate early intervention strategies for children requiring additional support or special education services Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of student activities and incidents Incorporate child welfare practices, including first aid and CPR certification, to ensure safety at all times Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching young children across various subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, and social skills Knowledge of special education needs, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies Prior classroom experience in private school environments or Montessori settings is highly desirable Excellent communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork within the educational staff Ability to follow mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality regarding student information First aid and CPR certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently Join us in shaping the future by providing high-quality early childhood education that nurtures each child's unique potential.
