Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a caring, energetic, and Christ-centered Preschool 3-Year-Old Class Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. The teacher will implement age-appropriate instruction using the Abeka Curriculum, support children's social, emotional, spiritual, physical, and academic development, and partner with families to foster a positive preschool experience. Instruction & Classroom Management Plan and implement daily lessons using the Abeka Curriculum.
Teach foundational skills including:
Letter and number recognition Colors and shapes Early phonics and language development Fine and gross motor skills Social-emotional learning Create a welcoming, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment. Utilize hands-on activities, music, crafts, stories, and play-based learning to reinforce lessons. Maintain classroom routines and positive behavior management strategies. Child Development & Care Ensure the safety, well-being, and supervision of all children at all times. Assist children with age-appropriate self-help skills and routines. Observe and document student progress and developmental milestones. Foster a classroom atmosphere that promotes kindness, cooperation, and respect. Communication & Family Engagement Maintain positive and professional communication with parents and guardians. Provide regular updates regarding student progress, classroom activities, and special events. Address concerns promptly and professionally in collaboration with the Preschool Director. Spiritual Development Integrate Christian values, Bible stories, prayer, and character development into daily classroom activities. Model Christ-like behavior and demonstrate a servant-hearted attitude toward children, families, and staff. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate attendance and classroom records. Prepare lesson plans and classroom materials as required. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school events. Follow all preschool policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

$15.00 per hour
