Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academy #33 is seeking a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic Preschool Lead Teacher 3's year old to join our early childhood education team. We are a 3-Star Quality Rated program committed to providing a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports every child's growth and success. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities that promote school readiness and child development. Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment. Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members. Observe, assess, and document children's progress. Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, safety, and program requirements. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's growth and development. Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must possess one of the following: Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential; OR Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education; OR Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field; OR Be actively enrolled in an approved program leading to one of the above credentials. Additional Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to pass the Bright from the Start comprehensive background check. Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a preschool, Head Start, Georgia Pre-K, or early childhood education setting. Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Experience with classroom documentation and child assessments.
