Job Description
3-Year-Old Teacher Lillie's Lil Lamb Daycare and Learning Center is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic teacher to work with our 3-year-old classroom. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that promotes each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development while following Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) regulations. It's also important that they be able to build and implement lession plans from a standard curriculum. We teach ABEKA. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate daily lesson plans aligned with GELDS and the ABEKA Curriculum. Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times. Conduct circle time, small group activities, story time, outdoor play, music, movement, and hands-on learning experiences. Encourage positive behavior using appropriate classroom management techniques. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized classroom. Observe and document children's progress and communicate with Director and Parents regarding their development. Work cooperatively with other staff members and administration. Follow all center policies, procedures, and DECAL licensing regulations. Participate in staff meetings and required professional development. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. CDA, TCC, or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred. Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred. Must pass all required background checks. Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Reliable, patient, and passionate about working with young children.
