As a key facilitator of the Montessori curriculum, you will create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes independence, curiosity, and a love of learning. Your role will involve guiding children through individualized lessons, fostering social-emotional development, and supporting their overall growth in a nurturing setting. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working within a collaborative and dynamic team. Duties Develop and implement engaging Montessori-based lesson plans tailored to each child's developmental needs, including literacy, math, physical education, and practical life skills Create a prepared environment that encourages exploration, independence, and respect for children's natural development processes Observe and assess children's progress regularly to inform instruction and support individualized learning pathways Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions with positive guidance strategies that promote social-emotional well-being Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services Maintain detailed records of student development, assessments, and daily activities in compliance with licensing standards Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment that respects cultural diversity and promotes child welfare Requirements Proven experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting, preferably within a Montessori or preschool environment Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques Experience supporting children with special needs or in early intervention programs is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Ability to implement standardized testing procedures when necessary to monitor progress Certification or training in Montessori methodology is preferred; relevant coursework in early childhood education or childcare is required Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, safety protocols, and promoting positive learning experiences Join us as a Primary Montessori Guide and be part of an inspiring community dedicated to fostering lifelong learners.
