Job Description
Qualification High School Diploma, GED required Bachelor Degree preferred or one year experience working with youth Minimum of one year direct youth experience in mental health, residential treatment or helping profession Adequate Oral and Written Communication skills Motivated, high energy, team player Work well independently, with team or under directions of others Strong Professionalism Complete criminal background check (Live Scan) Pass Drug Screen Valid Driver License Responsibilities Supervise and managed youth ages 12 to 18 Manage day to day operation of residential unit by ensuring youth complete homework, assigned chores and assist with outing and other extracurricular activities. Ensure clients receive daily medication. Administer medication to clients daily or as needed. Track clients progress in residential program, conduct weekly and monthly report on clients progress Conduct spot checks on residential unit and complete weekly inspection of the home to ensure compliance with accrediting bodies and stake holders (CARF, ORCC, DFCS, DJJ, etc). Assist with cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner for the youth Assist with maintaining cleanness and sanitation of the facility Work scheduled shift and weekends All duties assigned by Program Director Job requirements
- Applicants must have at least a High school diploma or equivalent
- Applicants must have at least 1 years experience
- Applicants must be at least 19
- Applicants must hold a Regular driving license
- A criminal background check will be required on applicants Job salary and benefits
- Salary range $13.00
- Normal working days: weekdays and weekends
- 40 hours per week
- Normal work shifts: Second (2pm-9pm) and third shift (9pm-9am)
- The hours for this role are Full-time, Permanent
- Hourly "Non-exempt" position
