  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for toddlers, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Your leadership will ensure that each child receives individualized attention while promoting a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and learning. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence young lives during their formative years through innovative teaching strategies and compassionate care. Duties Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of two-year-olds, incorporating principles of early childhood education, literacy education, and Montessori methods where applicable. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that promotes exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children. Lead daily lesson planning and activities focused on toddler care, behavior management, and early intervention strategies to support each child's unique growth trajectory. Collaborate with families to communicate progress, discuss developmental milestones, and provide guidance on child welfare and childcare best practices. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and outdoor play while ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. Incorporate specialized techniques for working with children with special needs or developmental delays to foster inclusive learning experiences. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides, fostering teamwork and maintaining high standards of classroom management and instructional quality. Experience Proven classroom experience working with toddlers in early childhood education settings or daycare environments. Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing age-appropriate activities for preschool-aged children. Experience with behavior management techniques tailored for two-year-olds to promote positive social interactions. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention programs, and special education practices. Familiarity with standardized testing methods used to assess early learning outcomes in preschool settings. Prior experience in private schools or Montessori environments is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
