Job Description

Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Assistant Child Care Manager, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a nurturing environment for children to learn, grow, and thrive. In this role, you will support the management of daily classroom activities, assist in implementing educational programs, and ensure a safe, engaging space for children of various ages. Your proactive approach and passion for child development will inspire both staff and young learners alike. Duties Support the implementation of age-appropriate curricula that promote childhood development and learning Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to health and safety standards Collaborate with Site Leaders and Youth Development Leaders to manage behavior and foster positive social interactions among children Participate in planning and organizing educational activities, play sessions, and developmental assessments Support classroom management by guiding children through routines such as meal times, and transitions Assist with documentation of children's progress, incident reports, and communication with parents or guardians Skills Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or nannying settings Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Ability to provide first aid and respond effectively to emergencies involving young children Strong understanding of working with individuals with disabilities or special needs in an educational setting Experience with infant care, toddler care, and preschool activities is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage positively with children and families
