Substitute Preschool Assistants Looking for flexible, meaningful work with children—on your schedule? Join our Kamaʻāina Kids ʻohana as a Substitute Preschool Staff member and step in when our classrooms need extra support. Ewa Beach Flexible / On Call Opportunities This on-call role is perfect if you enjoy working with keiki but need flexibility. You'll support our preschool teams across different classrooms, helping create a safe, caring, and engaging environment for children—while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education.
What You'll Do:
Step into classrooms to assist or lead when staff are out Help with daily routines, activities, and supervision Support children's learning through play and interaction Maintain a safe, positive and welcoming classroom environment Work with different age groups and teaching teams

Qualifications Teacher Assistants / Aides ($17-$18.50) At least 18 years old High school diploma or GED No professional experience required—we provide training for the right candidate! Comfortable working with young children in a classroom setting Interested in Growth? If you're an Aide but interested in becoming a Preschool Teacher or Infant/Toddler Caregiver, we can help you complete training to meet PATCH qualifications. (Teacher & Caregiver Pay range: $19-$25/hour) We even cover the cost of your CDA! (Child Development Associate) You Might Be a Great Fit if: You genuinely enjoy being around children (they bring out your best!)
