Armed Services YMCA Hawaii Children's Waiting Room (CWR) Childcare Provider Tripler - Join our Dynamic Team as a Children's Waiting Room (CWR) Childcare Provider - Tripler Army Medical Center (this is not a federal job and is a position with a nonprofit operating at the hospital) At the Children's Waiting Room, we believe in turning waiting time into a time of wonder and growth for young minds . As a Childcare Provider, you'll be the guiding star of our vibrant and nurturing small group environment, ensuring children aged 6 weeks to 12 years old have a safe and engaging place to learn, play and explore while their loved ones attend medical appointments. What You'll Do:
Embark on fun activities with children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, crafting activities that inspire creativity and curiosity in a safe care environment. Provide a safe, nurturing environment for infants and children. Change infant diapers when needed, ensuring the diaper log is filled out and completed. Champion the safety and well-being of every child, adhering to the Child Abuse Reporting procedures and maintaining a secure environment. Take appointments, ensure parents fill out proper registration forms, and ensure each child is signed in and out. Maintain registration files, online and paper, and prepare site and files for Army inspections. Accept payment from parents, logging receipts and payments. Why You'll Thrive in
