Position Details Position:

Part-Time Daycare Assistant Pay:

$13.00 per hour

Hours:

25 paid hours per week

Start Date:

As soon as all required background checks and fingerprinting have been completed and cleared.

Schedule Mondays:

6:30 AM•5:30

PM Tuesdays:

11:00 AM•2:00

PM Fridays:

6:30 AM•5:30 PM Paid lunch break included during scheduled hours. About Joann's ABC Daycare Licensed in-home daycare Caring for 6 children , ages 0-3 years Small, nurturing environment focused on learning through play, routines, and individualized care Responsibilities Provide attentive, loving care to infants and toddlers. Plan and lead age-appropriate educational activities. Assist with diapering, meals, snacks, naps, and daily routines. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment. Follow our daily schedule and daycare policies. Confidently supervise and care for the children independently when I need to step out briefly for an appointment. Work as a team to create a positive and engaging environment for every child. Required Qualifications Infant, Child & Adult CPR Certification First Aid Certification Essentials Child Care Training Mandatory Reporter Training Ability to pass all required State of Iowa background checks and fingerprinting Reliable transportation and excellent attendance Experience with infants and toddlers preferred Dependable, patient, organized, and able to multitask What I'm Looking For I'm looking for someone who is dependable, takes initiative, and truly enjoys working with young children. This is not a temporary position . I'm seeking someone who can commit to at least six months , as consistency is very important for the children and our daycare family. The ideal candidate is confident caring for a small group of children independently, communicates well, and is committed to providing high-quality care every day.
