Job Description
KinderCare is seeking Teachers for our Ankeny learning center to nurture and inspire young children in a safe, engaging environment. In this role, you will design and deliver age-appropriate, play-based lessons that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. You will maintain a warm, inclusive classroom, ensure strict adherence to safety and licensing standards, and build strong partnerships with families. Responsibilities Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood standards. Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment. Supervise children and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. Build positive, professional relationships with families through regular communication. Observe and document children's developmental progress. Support social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning. Collaborate with center staff to plan activities and share best practices. Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs and backgrounds. Participate in training and professional development opportunities. Uphold Kinder Care policies and state childcare licensing requirements.
