Position Summary:
We are seeking a responsible, energetic, and caring Child Care Associate to join our team. This position involves supervising and engaging with children in a safe, fun, and structured environment. Ideal candidates will have a genuine passion for working with kids and a strong sense of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities Interact positively with children, parents, and team members Maintain cleanliness and organization of play and activity areas Help with snack distribution, restroom breaks, and minor cleanup Monitor children for signs of illness or injury and report concerns to supervisors Follow all health, safety, and facility guidelines
Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years old Ability to pass a criminal background check (required) Friendly, patient, and dependable Ability to work well with children of various ages Good communication and teamwork skills Punctual and reliable Preferred Qualifications (Not Required): Previous experience in child care, babysitting, or volunteer work with children CPR and First Aid certification Physical Requirements This position requires an active presence with children throughout the day and the ability to: Stand and walk for extended periods. Participate in indoor and outdoor activities, including playground supervision. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Bend, squat, kneel, and perform fine and gross motor movements as needed.
Schedule:
Flexible hours; including mornings and afternoon into evening depending on program needs Monday-Friday, 6:30am-9:00am, Monday, 1:30pm-6:00pm and Tuesday-Friday 3:15pm-6:00pm
Pay:
$12.50 - $14.00 per hour
