In this role, you will be the guiding presence responsible for supervising and entertaining children during their time at our facility. Your energy and caring nature will help foster positive experiences that promote childhood development, social interaction, and fun-filled learning. Duties Supervise children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children, ensuring their safety at all times Maintain a clean and organized play area, ensuring all toys and materials are safe and sanitized Respond promptly to children's needs with patience and compassion while managing behavior with positive reinforcement strategies Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting any concerns related to child safety or well-being Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques CPR Certificaton required 90 days within employment Must be atleast 16 years of age Strong communication skills for parent interactions and team collaboration Demonstrated reliability, patience, enthusiasm for working with young children, and a proactive attitude Reliable transportation
