Job Description
Our pay range starts at $15 and goes up depends on experience/education! We are looking to fill positions for:
- Toddler Co-Teacher At this time, the hours we are hiring for are 7:30-4:30 and 8:30-5:30, Monday-Friday. These hours and days are not currently flexible.
- Our current operating hours are 7:30 am-5:30 pm
- We do not teach religious curriculum
- This position floats as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Willing to complete professional development and continuing education (We cover the cost of all professional development training!)
- CPR, Universal Precautions, First Aid, and Mandatory Reporting certificates or willing to complete within 3 months of hire. (You will get paid during the hours you do these trainings!)
- Experience with infants ages 6 weeks
- 2 years required
Description:
Come work at Westminster Preschool where we teach ages 6 weeks-5 years in various classes! We offer PTO, fully paid professional development and training, flexible hours, and competitive wages! We strive to ensure our teaching environment is collaborative, supportive, and encouraging!Teachers are expected to:
- Create and implement age-appropriate curriculum
- Work as a team member
- Show up reliably to provide consistency for children, their families, and co-workers
- Observe and interact positively with children
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the classroom along with preparations for classroom activities
- Be a positive role model for children
- Keep children safe
- Attend additional workshops, special events, training, or other activities as requested by director
