Job Description
Community Early Childhood Center believes that children are our most valuable resource. We have the opportunity to influence who they will be someday. We can give them a safe, secure, positive learning environment where caregivers offer opportunities through their daily play and interactions to develop the emotional, physical, social and cognitive needs of each individual child. We are a non-profit child care facility organized and run by a Board of Directors and Center Director. We have been a licensed center in Fort Dodge for over 50 years. The center collaborates with the United Way, the Department of Human Services, Promise Jobs, and the Child and Adult Care Food Program in order to provide high quality child care at an affordable rate to families in our community. Community Early Childhood Center is HIRING for full and part time positions now!! We are in need of friendly, fun-loving, reliable, nurturing, experienced staff with a positive attitude, who would love to spend their day working with children, (infants through 12 years of age). You must have good communication and social skills, some child development knowledge, be a team player, able to work Monday through Friday days and have an excellent attendance record. Assistant teacher pay starts at $12-$13/hour, lead teacher pay starts at $13-14/hour with opportunity for advancement with annual evaluation raises. Additional pay/stipends available for teachers with CDA, Medical Administration Training, ITERS, ECERS, or SACERS trainings.
