Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool Lead Teacher in one of our 3 year old preschool classrooms, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire a love of learning and foster development. In this dynamic role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curriculum, and create a warm, supportive environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills. Your expertise will help shape the educational journey of preschoolers, ensuring they thrive academically, socially, and emotionally from their earliest years. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that incorporate our curriculum development principles Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that support each child's unique needs. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress and address individual needs related to special education or early intervention services. Support preschoolers with age-appropriate care routines, including diapering, feeding, and nurturing activities aligned with childcare standards. Utilize classroom experience to create engaging activities that promote childhood development milestones and early childhood education goals. Manage daily classroom operations efficiently while maintaining a safe environment that adheres to all childcare regulations. Experience Proven classroom experience working with children in preschool or childcare settings Experience in special education or early intervention programs is highly desirable to support diverse learner needs. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and a nurturing learning environment. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education to support holistic growth. Prior experience with lesson planning for young children that integrates physical activity, cognitive skills, social-emotional learning, and child welfare considerations. Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
