Job Goal:

To lead and implement a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate summer daycare program that supports students' social, emotional, and physical growth while fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:

Program Implementation Plan and lead daily activities, lessons, and enrichment opportunities Create a structured, engaging, and age-appropriate environment Student Supervision & Safety Supervise children at all times to ensure safety Follow all district policies and childcare regulations Implement behavior expectations and positive discipline strategies Student Development Support students' social, emotional, and physical growth Encourage teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving Communication Maintain open communication with parents/guardians Report concerns or incidents to the Site Supervisor Collaboration Support and guide daycare assistants Participate in staff meetings and planning sessions Administrative Tasks Track attendance and maintain required documentation Assist with setup, cleanup, and organization of program spaces The listed responsibilities would be typical.
