Job Description
Job description Mid-August 2026 start date! The Community Action Agency of Siouxland is committed to providing high quality services to families and ensuring school readiness for all enrolled children. This position is for the Early Childhood Head Start program and provides high-quality early education and child development services for enrolled children, including for children with disabilities, that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth for later success in school. Individuals must serve as an effective role model and possess high quality standards. Children's health and safety must be of high priority. All positions have IPERS.
Job Type:
Full-time, summer's off Education and/orExperience:
- Teacher I ($18.58/hr) - Associate degree in early childhood education; or associate degree in a related field and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education
- , with experience in early childhood.
- Teacher II ($21.28/hr) - Baccalaureate or advanced degree in early childhood education; or baccalaureate or advanced degree and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education
- , with experience in early childhood.
- Coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education is at least 18 credit hours of early childhood coursework for both Teacher I and Teacher II.
