Job Description
KinderCare is seeking passionate Teachers for our Waukee center to nurture and inspire young children through engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. In this on-site role, you will design and lead play-based lessons, support social-emotional growth, and ensure a safe, caring environment. You'll communicate closely with families, document children's progress, and collaborate with a supportive, inclusive team dedicated to early childhood education and continuous professional growth. Responsibilities Create and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based lesson plans. Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment. Supervise children and support their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Communicate regularly with families about children's progress and daily activities. Observe, document, and report on child development and behavior. Collaborate with center staff to support center goals and special events. Follow health, safety, and licensing regulations at all times. Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
