Overview Join our early childhood education team as either an Infant, Toddler, Preschool, or After school Teacher or Assistant! Our program prides itself in creating an educational atmosphere filled with kindness, empathy and patience. In a teacher or assistant role, you will foster developmental growth, and create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. All Staff - All staff must be able to pass a federal background check, be willing to complete pediatric first aid & CPR training, and participate in continuing education and training. Benefits - Tuition Assistance, PTO, Flexible Scheduling Teacher Duties Provide attentive, active, and engaging supervision for children in a specific age group Design and implement engaging lesson plans centered around storytelling that promotes childhood development, early learning skills, and social interaction. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety protocols. Communicate regularly with colleges and parents about their children's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety by promptly reporting any concerns of abuse or neglect. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience that supports each child's unique needs and abilities. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, nannying, or similar caregiving roles. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR; pediatric first aid training is highly preferred. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior in young children. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety regulations. Passion for nurturing children's growth through engaging activities that support their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Assitant Duties Assist the lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities. Help guide children in developing social skills, sharing, and resolving conflicts. Monitor children during indoor/outdoor play, transitions, meals, and nap times to ensure maximum safety. Help children with basic hygiene, handwashing, bathroom assistance, and snack preparation/cleanup. Maintain a clean and organized classroom, track developmental milestones, and help communicate daily progress to parents. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 30 to 50 lbs, as well as the stamina to remain active with children We are committed to providing a supportive environment that values your expertise in early childhood education while offering ongoing professional growth opportunities.
