Child Care Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in our care. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow.

Duties:

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote cognitive, physical, and social development
• Create a safe and clean environment for children to play and learn
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns or issues that may arise
• Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to promote positive behavior management
• Collaborate with other childcare providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of children at all times

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
• Excellent behavior management skills to promote positive behavior in children
• Experience in caregiving, either through previous childcare positions or related roles such as nannying or babysitting
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques in an early childhood education setting
• Ability to create engaging activities that support learning and development
• Effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and other team members

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (degree in early childhood education or related field preferred)
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) We offer competitive pay rates based on experience.
