Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and Behavioral Health and a commitment to fostering a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment for children. This role involves working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school aged children, promoting their development through play-based learning activities, monitoring their safety, and ensuring everything is reported to parents. Duties Provide attentive caregiving to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social interaction, exploration, and creativity. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space. Collaborate with other staff members to support the overall goals of the daycare program. Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Keep daily child records updated. Daily after school transportation route may be assigned. Experience Previous experience in daycare or early childhood education settings is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential. About the Position(s) Our center is open from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM , Monday through Friday. All employees are assigned a 9 -hour shift with a 1-hour lunch break . We ask for flexibility to adjust schedules as needed based on classroom and child care needs. Any schedule changes will always come with notice, but all staff must be available to work any time within our operating hours.
