Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. You will be responsible for developing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of preschool and toddler-aged children. Create a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a supportive community. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom and daycare facility. Collaborate with other staff members to develop programs that meet the diverse needs of children, including those requiring special education support. Stay current on best practices in early childhood education, first aid, and child development. Skills Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Experience working with preschool-aged children in daycare or educational settings. Familiarity with special education strategies to support diverse learners. First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development. Experience in toddler care or babysitting is an advantage.
