In this role, you will serve as a versatile classroom support, stepping into various teaching environments to ensure seamless daily operations and enriched learning experiences for young children. Your energetic approach and strong communication skills will help foster a nurturing, engaging, and educational atmosphere across multiple classrooms. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in early childhood education while making a meaningful impact on children's growth and development. Duties Provide flexible classroom coverage, supporting lead teachers and substituting as needed to maintain consistent instructional quality. Assist with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to diverse age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary students. Support classroom management by implementing behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being. Engage children in literacy education, math activities, physical education, and other educational programs aligned with developmental milestones. Collaborate with teachers on individualized plans for children requiring special education or early intervention services. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments or student needs. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, standardized testing, tutoring, and teaching physical education. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage families. Passion for working with young children and dedication to promoting their welfare and educational success.
