Job Description
KinderCare is seeking Teachers for CDLC of Hoffman Estates in South Barrington to provide high-quality early childhood education and care. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom where young children can explore, learn, and grow. You will design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons, support social-emotional learning, and partner closely with families. Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for young children Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment Observe, document, and assess children's growth and development Communicate regularly with families about children's progress and needs Support implementation of Kinder Care curricula and learning standards Collaborate with center staff to maintain licensing and safety standards Manage daily classroom routines, transitions, and behavior Participate in ongoing training and professional development Required Skills Early childhood curriculum planning Classroom management Child development assessment Parent and family communication Lesson planning and documentation Health, safety, and sanitation practices Behavior guidance and social-emotional support Collaboration with teaching teams Regulatory and licensing compliance Basic computer and record-keeping skills
