Job Description:
A Teacher must over-see the educational activities within the classroom. Create an age appropriate lesson plan. They must ensure that activities are meeting each child's needs. They will be familiar with a variety of child care concepts, practices, and procedures according to the State of Illinois Licensing Regulations. They must have a wide variety of creativity and be able to apply them to each classroom. Other responsibilities may be required.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Preferred 60 semester hours of credits from an accredited college or university with 6 semester hours in courses directly related to child care or child development or Qualify in the other ways deemed by DCFS. Must have a reliable form of transportation. Must be able to pass a drug test.
