Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills. Foster a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain an organized, safe, and inclusive space for all children. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or behavior. Incorporate curriculum development strategies tailored to early childhood education standards and individual student needs. Support children with special education needs through early intervention practices and individualized instruction plans. Maintain accurate records of child development progress, standardized testing results, and lesson planning documentation. Requirements Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; familiarity with mandated reporting laws is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators. Experience with curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and physical education activities for young children. Ability to implement lesson plans that support early intervention strategies and preschool teaching standards. Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, safety protocols, and inclusive teaching practices. High School Diploma/GED CDA, Associate's or Bachelor's degree With six semester or nine quarter hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development, from birth to age six; or 2) One year (1,560 clock hours) of child development experience in a nursery school, kindergarten, or licensed day care center and 30 semester hours (or 45 quarter hours) of credits from an accredited college or university with six semester or nine quarter hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development, from birth to age six.
