Preschool Assistant Director

As the Assistant Director, you'll be a true co-leader.

You will:

Support the Center Director in leading, coaching, and inspiring your teaching team, Partner with families to provide the best care, Step in across roles as needed, from classrooms to operations, to keep things running smoothly, Drive enrollment goals and build community relationships that keep families coming back, Help lead the center through KinderCare's accreditation process using our world-class curriculum, Ensure a safe, nurturing and compliant environment every single day, Be qualified to act as the Center Director in their absence. Who We're Looking for: 64 completed college credits from an accredited college, with at least 21 in ECE Prior experience in a childcare, early childhood, or school-age care setting (leadership experience is a strong plus) A warm, approachable communication style with families, staff and children Solid organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with a smile Must meet all IL licensing requirements, including a background check
