Job Description

KinderCare is seeking Lead Teachers for our Edwardsville center to guide dynamic early childhood classrooms. In this role, you will design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum that nurtures each child's growth. Lead Teachers ensure a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment, closely partnering with families through regular communication and progress updates. You will model best practices for classroom staff, support licensing and safety standards, and contribute to KinderCare's collaborative, growth-focused culture while making a meaningful impact on children's lives every day. Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities. Lead a classroom of young children, ensuring safety and engagement. Observe and document children's progress and development. Communicate regularly with families about child progress and classroom events. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. Ensure compliance with state childcare regulations and center policies. Collaborate with center staff to support school-wide goals and events. Mentor and guide assistant teachers and classroom aides.
