KinderCare is seeking Lead Teachers for our KinderCare at Prairie Stone center to guide high-quality early childhood classrooms. In this on-site role, you will design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum that nurtures each child's potential. Lead Teachers model best practices, mentor classroom staff, and maintain a warm, inclusive, and safe environment. You will partner closely with families, document children's progress, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards while contributing to a collaborative, growth-focused culture. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate early childhood curriculum and activities. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Lead and mentor assistant teachers and classroom staff. Observe, assess, and document children's developmental progress. Communicate regularly with families about children's growth and daily experiences. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards. Collaborate with center leadership on program improvement and school initiatives. Manage classroom routines, schedules, and behavior guidance strategies. Support enrollment and family engagement events as needed. Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
