Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This position requires creativity, patience, and a strong understanding of childhood development principles to effectively engage with students and support their learning journey. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote early childhood learning. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery. Utilize various teaching methods, including Montessori techniques, to cater to diverse learning styles. Assess and monitor student progress through standardized testing and regular evaluations. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development, behavior management strategies, and classroom activities. Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive environment for all students, including those requiring special education support. Teach physical education activities that promote health, fitness, and motor skills development. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and assessments. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Experience in teaching math concepts to preschool-aged children. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other progressive educational approaches. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and staff. Experience working with students in a private school setting is preferred but not required. Understanding of standardized testing processes as they relate to early childhood education. A background in teaching physical education or related activities is advantageous.
