Preschool Teacher

As a head teacher, you would be responsible for leading the classroom and creating a comforting and nurturing environment. You would follow curriculum based on Illinois Early Learning Standards while engaged in active play.

Daily responsibilities:

Teach and instruct the daily lessons Engage in active play Serve snacks and lunch Clean and organize your room Provide a comfortable and caring environment Provide basic care for the well-being of the children Work well with other staff members while reporting to the director

Requirements:

6 credit hours directly related to childhood education and development 60 credit hours of college coursework Transcripts CPR/First aid (can provide training) 20 hours of continued training while employed Minimum pay starting at $18.25 an hour with a higher pay rate offered to those qualified!!
