Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Daycare Lead Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire the next generation of learners! Duties Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Lead daily classroom activities with enthusiasm, ensuring a nurturing environment that supports toddler care, preschool experience, and special education needs. Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management strategies to foster respectful and cooperative interactions among children. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or early intervention. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and childcare staff to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality care and education. Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, developmental assessments, and standardized testing results to monitor progress and inform lesson planning. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, health standards, and licensing requirements related to daycare operations. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of special education strategies and early intervention practices to support diverse learning needs. Familiarity with Montessori methods, literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners effectively. Ability to lead a classroom confidently while maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for young learners. Relevant certifications such as CPR/First Aid certification are preferred; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is encouraged.
