  • Full-time Infant Teacher Qualifications:
  • Must be warm, fun and energetic individuals who will provide a safe, happy and learning environment.
  • Must have at least two years' experience working with Infants or Toddler age children.
  • Are able to provide a child-centered, play-based curriculum promoting creativity, individuality, and independence of all children.
  • Will provide a safe, nurturing, family centered environment in which children can thrive and grow both physically and intellectually.
  • Will need to provide developmentally appropriate activities enhancing the skills needed for successful learning in a fun and exciting way.
  • Will focus on social and emotional health, progression in cognitive development and strengthening fine and gross motor skills.
  • Will promote healthy bodies as well as healthy minds with daily exercise and positive relationships.
  • Will include daily fine arts activities including music, art and language enhancement.
  • Will have healthy open relationships between the families, children and the staff.
  • Will provide annual written developmental assessments, annual parent-teacher conferences and ongoing student portfolios documenting the children's progression and fun while learning.
  • Have at least 6 semester hours or 9 quarter hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development, specifically covering children from birth to age six in the course description.
