Job Description

Mosaic Early Childhood Center, a NAEYC accredited early childhood education center, located in Skokie, IL is looking for Type 04 Preschool for All teachers with Associates degree to teach children 2-5 years of age.
IMMEDIATE OPENING
. Candidates should be reliable and available full or part time Monday through Friday. Most importantly, they create a positive learning environment in their classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning.
Daily Responsibilities:
To create a flexible PFA program and developmentally appropriate class environment favorable to learning and personal growth of children. To facilitate children's development of communication abilities, attitudes, skills, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for future success in school, in accordance with each child's ability and based on the Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards (IELDS). To establish good relationships with parents and with other staff members. Develop and use instructional materials suitable for verbal or visual instruction of children with a wide range of mental, physical, and emotional maturities. Provide appropriate climate to establish and reinforce acceptable child behavior, attitudes, and social skills. Create an effective environment for learning through functional and attractive displays, interest centers, and exhibits of children's work. Participate in curriculum and other developmental programs as appropriate. Meet with teaching assistant to go over lesson plans and share teaching strategies.
