What You'll Do:

Lead and inspire young learners using Kiddie Academy's Life Essentials curriculum Create engaging lesson plans and ensure a fun, safe, and clean classroom environment Foster social, academic, and emotional growth for each child Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate in team-building events and staff meetings Maintain classroom equipment and ensure it's in top shape Support children through daily activities, meals, and clean-up Keep communication open with families and attend academy events Take on new challenges and grow with us, whether that's stepping up to lead the classroom or participating in workshops!

DCFS Lead Teacher Requirements:

Total of 60 college credit hours with 6 credit hours in Early Childhood Education/Child Development OR a total of 30 college credit hours with 6 credit hours in Early Childhood Education/Child Development with 1,560 clock hours (1 year) working in a licensed child care facility OR equivalent Child Development Associate Certification (CDA) Ready to Make a Difference?
