Job Description

KinderCare is seeking a dedicated Teacher for Oak Crest Elementary to inspire and support young learners. In this role, you will plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that nurture each child's academic, social, and emotional growth. You'll create a safe, inclusive classroom, closely supervise students, and build strong partnerships with families through regular communication. Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with Kinder Care and school guidelines Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment Supervise children to ensure safety and wellbeing throughout the day Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student growth Collaborate with school staff to support school-wide initiatives Maintain accurate records, attendance, and documentation Incorporate play-based and hands-on learning activities Support social-emotional development and positive behavior Participate in training and professional development opportunities Required Skills Classroom management Lesson planning Early childhood education Child supervision Curriculum implementation Parent communication Child assessment Behavior management Basic computer skills First aid and CPR
