In this role, you will provide attentive supervision, engaging activities, and compassionate care tailored to the developmental needs of young children. Duties Supervise and care for toddlers and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills for children in the toddler age group Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and development Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns in a professional manner Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety and report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary, maintaining readiness for emergencies Support children with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions between activities Collaborate with team members to create individualized care plans that support each child's unique needs, including those with disabilities or special requirements Qualifications Experience working with young children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies Certification in first aid and CPR required; ongoing training preferred Demonstrated ability to work effectively with toddlers and preschoolers, including those with disabilities or special needs Strong communication skills for engaging with parents, team members, and children Ability to plan engaging activities suitable for early childhood learning stages Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare Classroom or daycare experience is highly desirable; experience caring for infants through elementary school-age children is a plus Passion for early childhood education and fostering positive developmental experiences Join us in creating a lively, supportive environment where young children thrive!
