The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curriculum that promotes literacy, math skills, and social-emotional development while catering to the diverse needs of children, including those with autism. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment where all children feel valued. Utilize behavior management techniques to guide children's behavior and promote positive interactions. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns. Incorporate Montessori methods into daily activities to encourage independent learning. Provide toddler care as needed, ensuring the health and safety of all students. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress in literacy, math, and other developmental areas. Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and share best practices. Skills Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Experience working with children with autism or special needs is highly desirable. Proficient in behavior management strategies to support diverse learning needs. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to develop engaging curriculum that promotes literacy education and math skills.
