Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Educator to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your enthusiasm for childhood development and commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere will help children build essential skills for their future. The Childcare Educator will plan engaging activities, manage classroom dynamics, and support children's individual needs through personalized care and instruction. Responsibilities Implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning, including Montessori methods if applicable Execute daily lesson plans that incorporate classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment Support children's developmental milestones by applying knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies Foster inclusive classroom settings that accommodate children with special education needs or additional support requirements Engage in ongoing communication with parents and guardians to share progress updates and discuss individual child welfare considerations Manage classroom activities efficiently, ensuring safety protocols are followed during daycare or preschool sessions Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools when appropriate to monitor progress and inform instructional adjustments Incorporate teaching physical education, literacy, and other core subjects into daily routines to promote holistic development Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and incident documentation as needed Qualifications Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings with classroom experience in early childhood education Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and classroom management best practices Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, tutoring methods, and standardized testing procedures Experience working with children who have special education needs or require early intervention services is preferred Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and children Certification or training in early childhood education or Montessori methods is advantageous Ability to work with toddlers and preschool-aged children in a nurturing yet structured environment Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, safety protocols, and inclusive teaching practices Join us in shaping the future by inspiring young minds!
