The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's development while working in a collaborative and supportive setting. Candidates with experience in childcare, classroom management, and early childhood education are encouraged to apply. Duties Supervise and care for children in a daycare setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, socialization, and development Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed Support children's emotional needs through nurturing interactions and behavior management strategies Monitor children's progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's day Follow all licensing regulations and safety protocols, including first aid procedures Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care when necessary Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, classroom management, and caregiving best practices Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom settings is preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and behavior management techniques is highly desirable Experience with infants, toddlers, or children with special needs or disabilities is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR will be provided during your hiring and you will join training and Classes with no cost to you. Willingness to obtain certification is expected Familiarity with classroom management strategies and caregiving practices that promote safety, learning, and positive behavior is essential Background in special education or experience working with children with disabilities will be considered an asset A fingerprint and background check are required.
