Job Description
KinderCare is seeking Teachers for our Shawnee center to nurture and inspire young children through play-based, developmentally appropriate learning. In this role, you will design engaging lesson plans, maintain a safe and inclusive classroom, and build strong relationships with families. You'll observe and document children's progress, partner with a collaborative team, and participate in ongoing training. At KinderCare, you'll make a meaningful impact on early learners while growing your skills in a supportive, mission-driven environment. Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, play-based lessons and activities. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Supervise children and ensure adherence to health and safety standards. Observe and document children's progress and developmental milestones. Communicate regularly with families about children's growth and classroom events. Collaborate with center staff to support center goals and initiatives. Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and learning materials. Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
