In this dynamic role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curricula, and foster a safe, inclusive environment that promotes childhood development and learning. Your dedication will help shape the foundational years of children's lives while supporting their social, emotional, and cognitive skills through innovative teaching methods. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including curriculum development for preschool and infant classrooms. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning through hands-on activities and play-based instruction. Manage daily classroom routines, including behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and emotional well-being. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs such as special education or early intervention services, and foster strong partnerships. Incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic child development. Maintain accurate records of children's progress using standardized testing tools and documentation methods; prepare reports for parent-teacher conferences. Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, health and safety standards, and licensing requirements while maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment. Experience Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is required; experience with infants is highly valued. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care, literacy education, special education strategies, and early intervention practices. Familiarity with teaching physical education activities and integrating math concepts into daily routines. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, staff members, and community partners. Experience working in private schools or similar educational environments is preferred; Montessori training or certification is a plus. Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse student needs while fostering an inclusive classroom atmosphere focused on child welfare.
