We are looking for teachers who are committed to making our center successful and know that creating meaningful relationships with children, families, and their team play a crucial role in that success. When you join our team as a Resource Teacher you will: Responsibilities Create a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and play Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum Organize nap and feeding times and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times Track children's progress and report to parents Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children's background and needs of the family Collaborate with other educators to create lesson plans Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards Support your center's success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement. Help the team when needed Skills 2+ year Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred) CPR & First Aid Certified or willingness to obtain Safe Sleep Training Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms Excellent communication and instructional skills Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable A love for children and desire to make a difference everyday
