Montessori Torah Academy is a private, independent Montessori school serving students ages 0-12 years of age. Our dedicated staff and supportive environment nurtures independent, joyful, lifelong learners.Job Title:
Infant Classroom Lead Teacher Montessori Torah Academy teachers establish a welcoming classroom where each child feels cared for and respected. The learning environment is student-centered and self-paced, allowing children to explore their own interests while mastering skills and knowledge. Our Montessori program lays the groundwork for academic success by emphasizing critical thinking, problem-solving, independent focus and working in collaboration with others.Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for infants (ages 0-18 months) 2. Provide constant supervision to ensure a safe environment, complying with all health and safety regulations. 3. Implementing age-appropriate activities and lesson plans that foster cognitive, emotional, and physical growth. 4. Providing personalized attention to meet each infant's unique needs, personality, and developmental pace. 5. Maintaining daily logs of activities, including food intake, diaper changes, and developmental milestones, and communicating with parents about their child's day. 6. Helping to foster secure attachments and encouraging initial social interactions between infants. 7. Actively participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities.Required Skills/Abilities:
1. Love, patience and respect for children. 2. Experience in an infant classroom setting. 3. Effective communication skills both written and oral. 4. Strong problem-solving skills, organizational and time management skills. 5. Collaborate effectively with colleagues. 6. Reliable and Punctual.Education:
1. High School Diploma as a minimum along with 6 units in early childhood development. 2. Prior teaching experience in an infant classroom setting.Compensation:
